Imagine you have been swept away for the night with the love of your life to celebrate valentine’s day. Much to your surprise, you walk into an empty venue…very much like Reese Witherspoon in the movie Sweet Home Alabama; however, instead of inside Tiffany’s and getting to select any engagement ring you want…you are surrounded by an abundance of candle light and an unlimited amount of cakes and specialty desserts to choose from.
Jamie’s day started off by finding a custom invitation, designed by Pink Tulip, left for her on her bed instructing her to meet at One Eleven East for a surprise. She wore a beautiful long dress by Morning Lavender and earrings by Kendra Scott, had her hair and makeup done by All Dolled Up ATX, and then went on her way. She was greeted to the most grand proposal and private dinner for two for their valentines evening.
He had a custom made calligraphy rug, from By His Grace, that read “Before I met you, I felt that I couldn’t love anyone, that nobody would be able to fill the void in my heart, but that all changed when I met you. Then I came to realize you were always on my mind. You’re funny and sweet, you make me laugh and smile, you take away all my anger and sadness. You are the most beautiful woman I have ever seen, more beautiful than any flower that I have ever seen. You made me weak when I talked to you, then I started to write poems about you. Now, I have come to realize that I am hopelessly in love with you”. He proposed with a stunner of a diamond ring from Tumpet & Horn presented inside of a gorgeous The Mrs Box ring box.
Their private table set for two was designed and curated by Ashley of Eighteenth Avenue Events with rentals from 10th Collection, Casa de Perrin, and Eliana Bernard. This gorgeous set up was dressed up with jaw dropping floral from Color Theory Collective and a silk runner by Nettle Textiles….and if your mouth wasn’t watering enough already for this beautiful proposal set up, then feast your eyes on the emaculate cake selections from Cakes Rock and amazing speciality desserts, set up by Melody’s Joy, from Simply Delicious Custom Cakes.
Of course, this proposal would not have been complete without photos by the ever so talented Sarah Goss Photography and video by Jim McKay of JMK Pictures to capture this memory of a lifetime. I mean how GORGEOUS is this?!?!
